Hobbit habitat?
During my break I was checking out recent posts, and was blown away by a house I came across on my friend Jesse’s blog http://www.baconsgreat.blogspot.com/

Isn’t it perfectly amazing? I was taken by the loft and the way the ceiling twists like a half woven basket. Cozy, delicate yet sturdy... When Jacob and I were in college we had discussed building a house in a redwood tree, but this seems much more feasible. And Jesse's right this house screams hobbit!

A break is a nice thing, indeed. Nonetheless, welcome back!
This is very hobbitish. For confirmation, check out the picture of this guys father-in-law, who helped him with this house, on this page:

Aye, me. I am forgetting my lore. Hobbits generally do not have facial hair, so perhaps he is a dwarf, though aside from the beard he looks very hobbit-ish, or perhaps even a bit like Tom Bombadil.

Oh my yes! I say Bombadil.

It looks surreal almost. Do you remember reading "On the Banks of Plum Creek". Didn't the Ingalls live in a dug out home on the side of a home at that time? I think that was the book where Pa nearly died trying to bring back a batch of Christmas Candy. Good old Pa. He was great.
Hmm...I tried writing a blog post today but nothing came out. I don't know what to say anymore! Maybe pictures would help. Hint, hint...

Zane, As I look down sheepishly, I vow to teach on Sunday. K?
Love a dove, swan, or robin,
Heidi
P.S. Today we're having a party at the office for my coworker’s birthday and I'm excited (a word that best translates to “unnaturally hyper”)!
